  • Dual fuel systems utilize a gas or propane furnace as the auxiliary heat, and a heat pump as the main source of heat
  • Must be an existing home, not new construction
  • Manufactured homes do not qualify
  • Oil, wood heating, and pellet stove conversions do not qualify

Mini Split Heat Pump Installation

  • New construction homes do not qualify
  • Gas, oil, propane, wood heating, and pellet stove conversions do not qualify
  • Rebates are not offered to customers replacing an existing ducted heat pump or air source heat pump
  • Electric heat to ductless/ducted mini-split system conversion
    • Existing heat source must service at least 80% of the home’s conditioned area
    • New ductless/ducted mini-split heat pump system must service at least 80% of the home’s conditioned area
    • $750 rebate towards your qualifying installation
  • Supplemental ductless mini-split heat pump system
    • $400 rebate towards your qualifying installation

Air Source Heat Pump Installation

  • Must be an existing home, not new construction
  • Gas, oil, propane, wood heating, and pellet stove conversions do not qualify
  • Upgrading an existing air to air heat pump system
    • Must be 10 HSPF/17 SEER or 8.5 HSPF2/16 SEER2
    • $450 rebate towards your qualifying installation
  • Electric forced air conversion to heat pump system

  • Minuteman Electric & HVAC will ensure that you qualify for the rebate related to your installation before the work is performed

  • After work is complete, Minuteman Electric & HVAC will handle the rebate paperwork
  • For customers on Idaho Falls Power choosing to utilize the 60 month loan, qualification will be confirmed before the work begins
